Information
Arrival and departure
On the day of arrival, check-in is possible between 15:00 and 19:00. You can safely leave your luggage with us from 10:00 am on the day of your arrival.
On the day of departure, the room is available until 11:00 am.
Breakfast
The breakfast (€12,50 p.p.) is served in the restaurant. On weekdays from 07:30 to 09:30 and on Saturdays and Sundays from 08:30 to 10:30.
Stairs
Hotel Ex Libris is located in two monumental state-listed buildings from the 16th century and therefore has no elevator. The hotel rooms are located on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd floors and are only accessible by stairs.
Extra beds
Hotel Ex Libris can accommodate two guests per room. Therefore we can not offer an extra (child)bed in the rooms. Children from the age of 12 are very welcome.
Cancellation policy
​Standard rate: You can cancel free of charge until 2 days before arrival. The total price will be charged for cancellations in the 2 days before arrival.​ There is no prepayment required.
Non-refundable rate: Changes are not possible and the full amount is due upon receipt of your reservation. The cancellation fee or no-show fee is 100% in this case.
Location
Parking
You can park at Rapenburg (day ticket €25). Alternatively we suggest to park at the city parking plan at the Haagweg (daily rate €10 with ticket provided by the hotel). From there you will be taken free of charge to any location - including Hotel Ex Libris - as desired in the city center of Leiden. You can call 071 51 20 071 and a bus will arrive in a few minutes to take you back to your car free of charge.

Hotel Ex Libris is located in Leiden's historic center, a 10-minute walk from Leiden Central Station.
By bus from Leiden Central railway station
The nearest bus stop from the boutique hotel Ex Libris is at the Breestraat. From this bus stop it is a four minute walk to the hotel. From the Leiden Central station, several bus lines (2, 4, 5, 45, 169, 187, 400) go to the city center and along this stop. The bus trip is short and takes about four minutes.
